hello!
today i sold my z-link luna box to someone. we both didnt know that not all the pulsars 2 are the same and when he came home he saw that he got only adat in.
i ask him if he want to change it back but he said that someone told him that there is something you can add to the pulsar2 to have that z-link connection.
do you know where can we get one? ebay or something? to get another luna 2 to work with the pulsar will do it?

the i/o plate can be changed...
they're expensive, however, $250-275. maybe someone would want to trade...

another card would also work....

the I/O plate would have to be exchanged. that means, btw, that one adat pair will disappear while 2 z-link ports will materialize.

the I/O plates are rarely to be found on ebay since there are still enough pulsar xtc or dsp booster around that can be equipped with I/O plates. therefore you either get a whole pulsar2 card with z-link plate or a luna card that provides additional dsp , a z-link port and the possibility to add another z-link port with the adat expansion (which adds adat, too, as the name would suggest. those adat ports are not s/mux capable, btw).

I don't know whether SC still offer single I/O plates or not. they did once, on special request. try to get in contact with ralf.
