Third-Party Plug-Ins

Hi guys,

I have been using Scope for quite some time now but there is one thing that I have been wondering and not got an answer yet.

I would like to use a Pitch Correction tool such as the Antares Auto-Ture or TC Intonator but none of them are suitable for the Scope DSPs.

I wonder if anybody knows of a Pitch Correction software that can work within Scope or , if not, what is the next best solution.

I understand that a VST plugin will only work within a VST host software so I guess I would be forced to open something like Cubase and connect it to Scope via ASIO in order to use it . Am I CORRECT ?

The sts5000 can do pitch correction. However native software tools like autotune and melodyne are probably more intuitive.

Melodyne cre8 is my friend.
I use it briged from Cubase, transfere the track i want to fix over to Melodyne,
change, duplicate etc. All tracks will follow the Cubase project.

Rewire to host or as a stand alone program is also possible.

Thanks for your input.

However, since I wish to use the plug-in in real time, using something like Autotune would involve running a VST host application and I think that would add instability in the system in conjunction with Scope.

I am still trying to locate an alternative that will not require a host app. support.

I think he means that if we all didn't use a VST host with scope, then it wouldn't be very useful? Scope has very good ASIO drivers and works very well with a VST host.

try Bidule (Standalone).. This might help to load VST effects without host application in (almost) real time.
