Awesome Ollivier,
Can these be applied in Scope also ? BTW thanks for the updates on DAS Modular Mixer. They will be put in the Hussie DAW when they come back next week again. They participated in the " Battle Of The Ho's " last weekend against two other chicky groups. They have been so spoiled w/ the Sennheisers, and UE Pro 10's, they forgot how to hold a microphone, and were of course complaining they couldn't hear themselves. They sounded great, and of course the visuals are always supreme. I hosted a private party afterwards @ my crib, and I never heard so many cackling hens. If they wern't so damn cute, there would be a bounty on their heads.

Congradulations on the Fairlight contract. I know you will do you well. Project X has been raising many eyebrows from pro's who watch the ho's. The talkback channel, and new GUI are greatly appreciated.

Any info on the Touchscreens you use w/ the Fairlights?

BTW, Is Kevlar harder than brick? I'm sure it is, only armor piercing decibels can't get through it.

I don't quite understand how they work on the fairlight system, have they been adapted for that ? do they use a scope interface ?

I think (from what I recall) Fairlight stuff uses AD chips and is compatible on some level with Scope hardware. One would assume so at least since there were pictures of fairlight consoles running Creamware devices in the past. :)

It's kinda rediculous that they are asking our community for (big) flowers in this thread, while at the same time they are blackening our own SDK community as a whole by stupid and false accusations without any ground.

See the Cyprox thread in the Devices forum for further information.

Shit, I hadn't seen that before

Where's the PROOF that this has been happening? And (as a software developer myself), why on Earth would you need to rip off somebody else's algorithms/code to build something as straightforward as a MIDI matrix router?! It's hardly rocket science.

Sounds Like A Mexican Stand Off.

classic picture, the comparison doesn't really fit the situation tho :-)

Wikipedia says;

A Mexican standoff is a stalemate or impasse, a confrontation that neither side can seemingly win. In popular culture, the Mexican standoff is usually portrayed as two or more opponents with guns aimed at each other at close range. Exacerbating the tension is that neither side wants to put down its weapons for fear that its opponents will shoot them. This situation forces the participants to resolve the situation either by diplomacy, surrender, or a pre-emptive strike.

but in our case there's only one gun playing a role, and it's headed to our SDK devellopers.
Nobody was or is accusing D*S of anything, and suddenly some SDK developers would steal concepts from others...

well, I didn't want to participate here, but since the cat's out of bag anyway...

this hacking blurb is complete bullsh*t - there is no hacking involved at all...

if the device is provided 'as is' then it's the sole responsibility of the developer to have taken any precautions to prevent unintended use, if 'use' is restricted to the system's regular operation, which opening a file unquestionably is.
The 'user' can in no way be assumed to 'think' for another person - that IS a legal matter of fact and I'm absolutely sure to have read sentences with exactly that reasioning.
digitalaudiosoft wrote:...i want to thanks astroman to have deleted all those hacked devices :-)...maybe he is alone...
the point is not that I deleted a couple of devices - the point is that I kept my mouth shut so you could exchange your demos on the server.
I've been p*ssed off by you several times that I might have bad intentions with your business, so wtf didn't I exploit my knowledge, so everyone could download all(!) your products in workable condition ?
the question is purely rhethoric, I don't expect an answer
I've sent exactly that information on new year with some greetings to Olive - with no response

to be honest (imho) you both are a shame for your country - regarding the usual french pride about their nation...
you have no style, no manners, no competence - as it was mentioned by another member 'study the DAS threads and you know how to NOT run a business'
your attitude is 180 degrees from what's expected from a(ny) developer - you even lack the most basic skills.

cheers, Tom

you can't shit on us and at the same time expect we show respect for your exposure needs...

Btw, I friendly emailed you a few hours ago (before your previous post), asking you to stop Eric from his weird accusations, because 'nobody is waiting for another conflict between D*S and Planetz'.
It could be you missed that, or didn't value it...
