wow Shroomz,
what a hell of a mixer...
simply great, just checked it and it works fine so far...
some feedback from my side:
- solo/mute both mute the channel
- I can route to the group busses but the sound is still routed to the main channel ( so it gets doubled/phaser)
suggestions:
- on/off switches for the EQs to save DSP ressources
(eats up a whole Pulsar Project ( 6xDSP)
Wooow.....

Hello,
Yes, it's quite dsp intensive if you don't have a 14/15 dsp board as your primary card, so I might look into that
On that subject, you'll need a minimum of 2 x 4dsp cards to run this mixer.
cheers,
Shroomz
mmm, that shouldn't happen, I'll look intio it.hifiboom wrote: - solo/mute both mute the channel
The buttons at the bottom beneath the faders (with the green text) switch the channels, aux's & busses on & off the mix.- I can route to the group busses but the sound is still routed to the main channel ( so it gets doubled/phaser)

voidar .... yes you can run it on 2 Pulsars (in theory at least)
Wayne, that version won't run on a single board as it's assigned over 2 boards, but I'm gonna make a version which is assigned to one board which will require a big card & also a version which isn't dsp locked AT ALL. I'll post them today

I'd like this as well, both for dsp saving and just to eliminate unnecessary circuitry when it's not needed. Bonus points for doing the hi/lo shelves & mid bands independantly switchable.Shroomz wrote:suggestions:

Shroomz,..My Brotha' Man Shroomz,
I love the sound and have hardly begun to scratch upon this surface. Do you suggest running Move EQ w/ this, I see it is pictured. I'm still messing this mixer since I got home. I downloaded it in Tahoe just in case the PlanetZ server started acted like Creamwares or something, Oh Sorry.
I found that it freezes my synthesizers polyphony when I zero out the Polyphony on yours. So I suppose I should give your mixer 1 voice of Poly, as that seemed to fix it. Does raising the Poly on the mixer allow more plugs or anything?
This mixer is awesome. Kudo's on the EQ arrangement, as I can do vocals, synths, and about anything you throw @ it, Extremely versatile. This mixer w/ Move EQ is worth buying a Creamware Professional card to run it. I can't believe the balls on the samples I love so much. John Bowen should hear his synths through this FAT BASTARD.

i agree with rodos. Even though i have higher resolution than him it's still huge on my display - i can just fit it in if i drag it over a bit, but it's a squeeze with the Live Bar open.
