Cascading 2 Cards..

Post by Moonscratcher »

Hi...
..certainly there is already somewhere the answer in here, but I can´t find it..
So...here´s the problem..
I´ve got 2 cards (1 Pulsar XTC and 1 Pulsar II ) and I want to csacade them..
Do I have to connect them with 2 cables ??
If not, which one of those 2 connects do I have to close ? Front (near I/O) or back ?
Which card has to be the "first" ??
Does it matter in any way ??
Where to get thoses cables in Germany (Berlin) ??

I´ve wrote 6 mails the last 3 month to creamware, but can´t get an answer..

So I would be very happy about any help in this case..

........Moon........ :D

you can use 1 or 2 cables.
usually it doesn't matter, it depends on how you work. if you pm me, i can sell you one or two, but it's be easier to order the parts an make them yourself. you need 20pin card edge connectors and the matching ribbon cable. any good industrial electronic supply will carry them. they are crimp together.
