An insert device that is simply a volume fader, and can be controlled with a midi volume pedal. In mono and stereo version.
Is there any already?

As much as I would love some pedal stuff, you can do this with a channel device. However, it won't load as an insert.

With this device you can have your Dynatube rig loaded in erminardi's Capo SE-70, insert it at some point, and control the volume without affecting the reverb and delay.. If you control the channel fader than you affect the level of the delay and reverb that are loaded on the channel..

Do you want to control the input volume into the dynatube (as a real volume pedal), or dynatube's output volume?

In both cases, you can simply assign ani midi control to dt's input gain or output gain knobs and control them with a vanilla midi pedal...

Ditto, almost every device has the input gain MIDI assignable.

Most of the times, I want to control the volume of the signal just before it hits the Delay and Reverb.
If I control the input gain of Dynatube, that will change the sound (and I can do that with the guitar volume control - with a Strat). And besides, in the way you mentioned, there is no possibility to totally make the sound silent..

hmmm... not sure of that.. all the dt's have a master volume control (independent of the input / output gain control) and also have a "pre" or "gain" control which controls the drive.

besides, if you use a HW volume pedal, it will always be before the amp, so you'll change the sound that arrives to it. I also rarely see volume pedals with complete bypass, so "0 level" doesn't actually exist

If you want to control the signal before it hit's delay or reverb (supposing you're usign them as inserts and not at the FX loop) you could plug a micro mixer between the dt's output and the delay's or reverb's input, and control it via a MIDI pedal.

If you use the delays and reverbs through the FX loop, then you could assign a midi control to the send or return knobs on the mixer.
