Behind the Times - Need Slight Upgrade

Hey, you're probably going to laugh at this
but I'm still using Pulsar 2.04
AND windows 98
I know, I know... I suck.
Anyway, I'm wanting to upgrade to Windows 2000
but it seems as though I remember reading somewhere on Creamware.com
way back when
that Pulsar 2 wouldn't work with Windows 2000
and that I would need an upgrade of Pulsar
Could someone please inform me what kind of Pulsar upgrade I need (minimum) and where or if it is available.
Thank you much

You can get 4.0 for nothing, but i would just jump to Windows XP if i were you - i mean how tentative do you really want to be?

SCOPE 4.0 can be downloaded
here. and details can be found
here, although for not very much money you may wish to go the whole hog and go SCOPE 4.5 (go on, spoil yourself). However i can't see 4.5 in the shop at the moment as they've had a few problems. Also be aware that i'm not sure if the half price offers listed on that second link are valid now, so don't be disappointed if you can't get them anymore.
BTW, you are allowed to post more than every five years you know

4.5 software can be installed anyway for free, you only don't get the newer devices as with the payed upgrade.

one still needs to email for the 4.0 key. it's free, of course.
oh, and go with xp.

Wow! Thanks for the responses...
I suppose it is OK to post more than once every five years.
So, everyone seems to agree that 4.0 or above is the way to go
(AND IT"S FREE!!)
and it does work with the old, original hardware, right??
As far as 2000 vs. XP, I use both at work, and for some reason I like 2000 better. XP seems like an unnecessary upgrade, besides the fact that it eliminates all the sharp edges of the windows themselves, making them all bubbly so that nobody will hurt themselves if they trip and fall into them

turn off all the eyecandy in xp and it works great(and looks like 98 ). very few teaks are needed for a stable system. W2K is much crankier. xp home oem version is $89.
