regarding the biggest package;
"So what are you going to do with the 1,000 Euros savings ….?"

Maybe buy the SNS and MNM package that seem to be removed?

Mh, this winter, the "special deal" seems to focused to new customers and not for old Pulsarian ;)
I hope also for some plugin discounts...

(hey I'm still waiting for Flexor II, hurry up guys  )
4PC + Scope 5.0 + no more Xite + 2xScope Pro + 6xPulsarII + 2xLunaII + SDK + a lot of devices (Flexor III & Solaris 4.1 etc.) + Plugiator.

if CW doesn`t come up with new hardware, why don`t they pull out the Scope Pro SRB cards without any software for lets say 600€.....

I think the card itsself can be assembled quite cheap these days.... and the main work now goes into the plug-ins. .... etc...

So people could extend their setups more easily with processing power.....
which may leed to new hunger after more and better plug-ins....

thats what I think.

Nice idea, just like actual Unuversal Audio policy, they sells the basic card for a piece of cake: the real UAD market is in the plugin...

I second the pure SRB/DSP idea!
Same for if you want to expand ADAT ports, it feels rather strange that I need to buy a fully implemented audio/studio card just to get more ADAT outs.
Compare the stategy of RME, which offers expanding boards that can be hooked on the main card (Hammerfall HDSP serie), just like Creamware cards can do.
The ebay way to go doesn't work really, as you mostly have to pay also for extra software which I probably will have already.
Both the consumers and Creamware would really benefit from the idea of pure expansion plates.

No, I don't throw in the subject of OSX support here, tho that would be the real winter surprice for me ;-)

these creamware specials are a bit frustrating. i have a 30 dsp system and an A16 Ultra and all stock creamware plugins i need in my project studio. I'd love to see an anncouncement for new hardware instead! And I do not mean a new ASB or Klang, I mean a new single DSP card with the power of 3 scope pro's!!

my 2 swiss cents...

i already have 20 dsps
a scope pro + pulsar2

i am interested in the scope pro+a16ultra+prodissey,....... but i have already purchased prodyssey.
the offer would be more reasonable to let us choose the synth.

this offer seems like lotary and winner is the one who hasn't spend his money in the past for the specific module.

creamware must be a little more elastic(flexible)

about the srbs that should be sold at lower prices, i agree 100%, and i would add the parameter of scope pro cards with i/os as well to be sold without the software in lower prices as well, for the ones who need the extra i/os.
it is not that nice to buy a scope pro and have to buy all software back again in twice. it is nonsence.
THANKS

I think Creamware would benefit a lot from thinking customer segmentation. The basic two segments are existing customers and new buyers. The winter special is in my opinion only interesting for new customers - a selection of bundles allow new people entering the CW world, and the size of the wallet decides which packet to buy.

The problem for existing customer base is that all bundles contain a product that we already own, and which we already have paid for!

So, to make an interesting winter special for the existing customer base: lower the price for SRB boards or other hardware, make another discount period at the online shop, like the summer special.

This idea is a great one, I have most of the plug-ins that I want that will work in my current set-up of 2 x project cards, I don't plan on selling my cards and the idea of paying for the same stuff again doesn't appeal to me. But, I would love more power, the only reason I can think of that would make this a bad idea if Creamware was to only sell dicounted cards to existing customers, is, if they do have something new around the corner, otherwise they aren't making much money from a lot of people on this site, I'm sure there are people who can think of other and better reasons why they wouldn't, but hey! we can dream can't we? :D

Hello Arcadios,

>>>>the offer would be more reasonable to let us choose the synth.

You're absolutely right !

So we will modify our Winterspecial and from now you can get the bundle with a device of your choice ( maximal standalloneprice 198 Euro ).

cheers

Ralf, could you please PM me a price for a Scope Pro with *only* the SFP platform software without the M&M, S&S & additional synth. We already have all CW packs (bundles) & synths.

I would be buying it before the end of this month if the price is right.

Thanks
