hello,

thats my question what is a good motherboard and processor for a pulsar2 card.

if u want more info abt my system; one year ago i bought the pulsar 6 dsp but never got it working. it only gave me lots of headache.

in between bought motu828 and am very happy with this system especially in combi with powercorefirewire and hardware compressor/nordrack2. regard this now as my main production center.

but... i like the pulsar also, especially now ive all got the things they sold. some synths and also the dynamics of the sidechain, the mastering-plugs like psyQ etc....

and i just got it back from creamware with repaired contacts...

now i want to toshlink the pulsar to my current asus dualcore through the motu 828 mkII.

i guess then the spdif is the clocksignal and the optical connection gives me up and down audio signal. looking fwd to see this set-up working!!

maybe someone can give me a good advice for motherboard and processor in order to get a reliable, relatively cheap computersetup with pulsar2.

thanks in advance,

ASUS P5B Deluxe together with Intel E6600 is a powerful solution...
(up to 2 scope-boards)

If you need a complete setup:
