Has anybody experienced trouble with s-ata connections?
My DAW is a little over 3 years old.
It has 2 s-ata drives.
The main one (C:) gave me some trouble a couple of years ago, but after i changed the s-ata cable, it has been problem free.
This weekend, my other disk began to drop out.
Changed cable again, and it seems to work.

Any experience/thoughts?

sata cables have smaller contacts especially voltage plugs.
yesterday i cleaned the pc inside and put some spray for contacts in some electric contacts like scope cards stdm contacts and pci contacts, agp8 as well. i didn't spray on the motherboard. i just put carefully on the cards contacts with some cleanex.
do you think this might make things better?
in fact i am not sure 100% about this method on pc staf. it works for sure on other electronic device.

First time, when it was c: - it crashed immediately
When it was 2. HD, i just lost connection to it. So i had to restart, after shaking the box and touch tha cables. Sometimes it worked, somtimes not.
The pc has been running 22h without a prob so far, so ....i have hopes
