as i do not want to go for a pci express mobo, and also not to throw everything i have, i am interested in intel 775 socket mobos with agp8.
my 478 intel seems a little week and i need a good processor that on 775 sure there are better.
also i have found a few 775 socket with 865intel chipset very cheap.
any experience om such mobos(good for scopes)? do these support the new intels core2?

865 is still rocking 4 me. One year of a super busy performance schedule and not one crash yet. I suggest Intel products if possible. I would second the Supermicro w/875 but they are not cheap, but support Engineering sample overclocking in their BIOS. The P4's are good up to 3.8GHz IMHO.
