When I try to freeze audio tracks with Xtc effects, the tracks return noise.
I think the solution is something like a "real time" freeze process, (and not the speedest one), but I don't find it in cubase
How can i freeze tracks?
Thanks

you can't, which is normal

and you're right, you have to do this in real time.
solo the track you wanne record and get it back from SFP into your sequencer via one of the applied ASIO busses (check the number of channels of your SFP ASIO modules).
Use the mix-out of your mixer, or do it smart using a mixer bus, or use the direct out of the mixerchannel that carries the track you wanne record.
Connect to a ASIO bus.
Listen to it while recording, enjoy a cup of coffee, and feel happy

thanks...
I don't know why Steinberg don't add "real time" flag in freeze function!!

that's why I called it 'normal', you can't reasonably blame the (makers of ) the sequencer software
How could the sequencer know ánd do what you need to do outside the sequencer, in SFP?
Soloing mixer tracks, volume settings, effects on/off...
Freezing is an sequencer-internal procedure.
It would be nice however if Steinberg would organize this with the (few remaining) develloppers at CWA, it would make CWA a lot bigger
That's why I added that last sentense, (enjoying the recording), it's a known discussion here from time to time

XTC works like a charm with some tweaks.
