Have been amazed with the MicroTonic Drum synth. It's a VST, but wow....this is one good piece of code. The author should code for the Creamware platform.

If you haven't at least demo'd it....you owe it to yourself to give it a try.

Recorded in Logic...

Cheers

wow, has it been a long time since I've seen you around? (or am I confused?)

anyway, I also use microtonic in most of my tunes. Great stuff. Wished they could throw in another independent osc for more powerful kicks tho.

great clav sequence by the way.

Ken....it has been a long time....I lurk still. Read up on what you guys are doing (BTW you are quite prolific...I wish I could get inspired to write as much music as you do!)

I sold my CW cards...but now am seriously thinking of buying a cheapo tower (see digression below) and another Pulsar card (possibly just for an 8 channel effects loop)

Digression:
This is off-topic for this forum...but just a note. I see some of you guys still looking at the best PCI motherboards for Scope, etc.

Here is a trick that can get you 13 masterverbs on the PCI bus for a $100 investment (you won't be able to run a DAW at the same time...but......):
Look on ebay for an old Dell Optiplex GX110 tower. I've seen them selling recently for supercheap. They are old P3 boxes, in the 500-900mhz clock range...but they have lots of PCI bandwith (and not much else to them). I used one with my setup years ago and it was rock-solid. Load up XP and you are ready!

anyway.....sorry for the digression.....

Thanks for the listen Ken! Anyone thinking of trying out MicroTonic....there is a full-capability demo on the developer's website (it uses a timed audio "nag" as a reminder).

Cheers
