My CD on CDBaby

Dear fellow Scopers,
after two years of hard work the time has come to put all my nights spent on our beloved Modular and Scope environment on a CD. All effects and all the synthesis is exclusively Scope stuff, for tracking, mixing and mastering.

I will buy this just because you are a fellow Pulsariain using Scope platform, and I love the MIDI dev. you made. It allows me to emulate the B3 with extreme ease.

I think you should charge more next time. 15.52 USD delivered is very cheap, and I'm sure I will be nagging you for you modules at a later time. Can I use them in Solaris?

Thank you very much.
I hope you will like it, and regarding the price I have to consider that all those who buy it outside the U.S. pay some more for the delivery....

I don't own Solaris, I do almost everything with the Modular, as I said, I can give the used patches to all the PlanetZ buyers... For most of them you need FleXor though, a couple are already available here in the download section.

Looking forward to know what do you think about it after a more complete listening.
And if you really like it, please leave a good review on CD Baby, it helps a lot, really.

Those little shimmery fret sounds that you routed through modular, are truly unique, and sound exactly like the WAV's that I am looking to mix with my synths in Solaris and Modular. They sound like sprinkles from heaven. Fuckin'A man. You need to produce/compose more, as you hear what others don't, and with your talents in Modular, this is a very powerful production tool. I hope to achieve your level of design.

I played "Themeless" for my DJ/Kyma guy here in LV. He also loved it. I tried to explain how you mastered it in Scope and he was impressed. On our breaks, he plays stuff that is considered underground, and refuses to play any groove related music. It is his signature. So I believe that Themeless will be played quite frequently. As it is truly unknown in these parts, I hope to change that.
So my vote 4 the song from this thread is THEMELESS. As one word cannot describe the time and genius that went into this masterpiece of organised sound.

I bought this album a while ago and it has been a permanent resident on my CD Player since then - sorry it's taken me so long to actually write anything here about it.

The album is a masterful blend of the electronic and the acoustic, filled with virtuoso playing and virtuoso programming.
The album is evocatve, intelligent, thought-provoking, and quite beatiful. Unlike many so-called 'ambient' albums, this album deserves careful listening. You can let the soundscapes just wash over you if you like, but you can also delve into the album deeply - it is so carefully and artfully constructed.

There are often times when I can't tell whether I'm listening to an acoustic instrument or a synthetic one.
I don't mean that the album is full of synthetic emulations of real instruments - if you hear something that's recognisable as a real instrument then you know its a real instrument - these guys can really play, particularly guitar and flute,
What I mean is that the album is full of new, interesting sounds, which might be created on some instrument you've never heard of, or might be purely synthetic. The synthetic sounds on the album sound so organic that they blend in beautifully with all the acoustic instruments.

Congratulations to both of you for creating a beautiful ambient masterpiece.
