Best AMD processor mboard combo

Trying to upgrade a system for a friend using Scope pro and a UAD card in the same system. I use an asus a8v with the via chipset, and amd 3800 and have no probs. just wondering if anyone has any suggestions of newer mobo and amd combos that are rock solid.

NForce3 chipset is solid and screaming fast here.
