i would LOVE to have a little midi controlled mixer, to use in my xtc project, that way i could use it for monitoring, and i would infact have xtc mode with no latency!( even with realtime-zero latency sfp effects!)
see http://www.planetz.com/forums/viewtopic ... orum=32&30
for more info

if someone makes this device i would be very very happy!

Have you tried j9k's 8 channel mixer? It's the most DSP efficient mixer around - amongst others cos it's not dezipped... (moving faders may cause audible clicks).

sorry, i didnt make myself clear... I want to use the mixer in the xtcproject.pro and make it controlled by midi, through/in cubase, so the mixer will never be visible, but i´ll still be able to control the monitor volume,( with the mixer) through cubase.. does that make sense?? thats what im looking for! a mixer that will work in the xtc project, and not incubase in xtc mode.... hmmm sounds confusing..

I have tried to make something like that a long time ago but didn't manage it. I didn't found a mixer that let audio pass, and (i don't remember clearly) i had problem with asio source-dest showing wrong names. Try to insert a modular (with the old preset list) and assign there the midi control you want and then use the mixer in the previous post.

i dont have the modular, but i´m planning on getting it soon, but thanks anyway.. i never had any problems with asio though.. seems like we just need someone to build one of these things!!!!anyone with the development software out there?? or let creamware do it!

if I understand this right then you want to control the level of the monitor mainly - or is there a different monitor mix ?
Imho it doesn't make much sense to control a sensitive (and usually expensive) device like a monitor this way.
You may not be able to switch it off quickly enough if something goes completely wrong.

cheers, Tom
