hi there!
what I would like most is a wav/aif recorder within scope. now I route to sound-forge via wav-driver or to tracktion2 via asio.
a little wav/aif recorder would be very helpful.

ps: a ac3 recorder straight out of the surround-mixer whould be a wet dream.

The problem with it is that you have to pre-allocate at least 8 tracks, so if you just need a tool to make 2 tracks for a live recording of something for say...45 minutes, it takes an insane amount of disk space at the beginning, expecially at 32 bits. Then, something that makes stereo interleaved files would be nice too...

Yes, a tiny stereo recorder with VDAT quality would be awesome.

re: ac3 - in short: it's all licenced and will cost you more than a fully equipped scope machine.
