recalling MIDI assignments automatically

is there a way to load a synth/FX in SFP and to recall automatically and immediately one of the saved midi controllers assignment?

Unless it's a device from OS <=2.04 (old preset list) re-saved including its assignments, no. Or if it's already saved in the project, of course, or if you use XTC...

But for freshly loaded recent devices, as I think you're after, the best you can do now is assign a bank and program number and recall those from external sequencer/gear.
