im still using dma cable for all 3 hd and dvdrw(all PATA). do you think if i change dma cable to Ultra Dma cable its gonna speed up my data transfar and solve clicks or pops or glitches.( i can put any project in 3 hd coz its still start clicks or glitches sometimes
)
One of my friend told me not to use Ultra DMA cable with DVDRW! coz he got problem with using that. any idea?

i don't know about the difference between the 2 cables, but pops, clicks and glitches could be caused by different factors.
For example, using digital connections with more than one single clock source, or using a latency setting too low, or working with high cpu performance....
I don't know about your system configuration, could be good to let us know about it...

OMG, life can be so simple
Firubbi, the faster the data on the cable the less reliable is the transmission.
The effect of an UDMA cable is comparable to a symmetric audio connection versus an asymetric one. It's required for reliability.
Your BIOS should detect this and drive the disk slower - even worse if it doesn't, as then the controller sends data full speed, but is constantly interrupted by errors.
You should experience a vast improvement
