to asus p4c800 users...
hi!
finally i have decided that the asus p4c800 deluxe will be my next mainboard for my CW system...
i need to mount 2GB RAM... and the question is regarding which ram to buy...
if you have this board, can you please me tell which brand of 1GB RAM are compatible?
i ask because on my PC, with an asus p4b533, i didnt succeed in mounting a single 1GB slot... i tried 3 different banks (all bought and then sold on ebay), but none of them worked on my PC... since i plan to buy all the different components of my new PC on internet, i'd like to be very sure about the compatibiliy...
the last question is regarding the CPU... on the specification there is written "new power design supports intel next generation prescott CPU"... is there the possibility that i will buy a CPU that is not supported by this board? what about northwood VS prescoot VS other P4 types?? i just knew that northwood were less power consume, so that they will not become too hot...
any help will be appreciated!
