Hi,
I'm hoping to find a device which will edit note-on velocities going through it and replace the velocity value with whatever CC value it currently has.
Does such a thing exist?
Thanks...

what sequencer do you use?
In Cubase is quite simple...edit the track velocity value...or the parts if you like

Thinking over it, you probably want to record your life midi playing at one velocity...?
If so, you need to redefine the velocity settings of your (external?) synth in use...

to convert note to cc it's possible using the modular with the flexor's absolute value or multivalue modules, or the miditoolbox from wolf audio design.

Cheers guys.
I use ERA inside of Minihost for sequencing. ERA's not able to filter note velocity coming through it's MIDI in, but Minihost may well be able to - didn't think of that, will go look.
I do have flexor, but am at a bit of a loss how to use the value modules to change velocity - what did you have in mind?
