I'm in a situation were I need to expand my HDD-capacity and I would like to use a SATA-HDD if possible.

I remember hearing some warnings about using the SATA interface on Creamware systems, because it was somehow linked to the PCI-bus.

Does anyone have any info about this. Will I run into trouble using an ATA and a SATA HDD alongside with my 3 CW-cards on a MSI K8N Neo2 MB (nForce 3 Ultra chipset)?

Cheers!
Thomas

Mixing ATA and SATA should not cause any problems.
AndreD built a new DAW for me and he said the same. I have a 250 GB Samsung SATA HD and an 80 GB Maxtor ATA HD - it works fine for me.

Cheers, Thomas
