For your machine's performance? If I leave it disabled when I'm not using it (99% of the time) will it still impact performance?

I'm using a P4T-E motherboard (850 chipset) and a GeForce2 video card (soon to be upgraded to a Matrox G450), and a UAD-1 card. Any suggestions for slot combinations to avoid, etc?

if it's disabled, it won't make any difference. when enabled, it will eat some pci bandwidth as well as an irq. that may or may not be a problem, depending on what you do with the machine.
