How do I manually select IRQ number for my PCI devices under Windows 2000? I have a lot of disturbances on my system when using SCSI (required for my E-mu samplers) and my LUNA 24/96 box. I thought the sharing of IRQ 11 between LunaII and Adaptec scsi card may cause this. The noise is detected on the Luna box AND the analogue ins on my Luna II.

Also, in Win ME, I can switch off the auto insert detection of my SCSI CD rom (which also creates an outburst of noise). Does anybody know how to turn that off under WIN 2000?

first of all you have to disable the acpi in win 2000
after changing to standard pc you have to install all peripherie new!!!
after that you get the irq info in msinfo32.exe
