Hi, all you Creamware Soundcards Users

I`m about to buy a 2nd hand "pulsar 1" card (the old one with the 4 DSPs on it)
This guy, which I`m buying from, told me he has no CD with drivers/software for it.
- I wanted to know before I actually buy it, can I D/L drivers for it?
- Will the basic drivers will cost me anything?
- Can I get free FX & Instruments for it, if so where can I get them?
10nX in advance
Eric.

the drivers and software are backwards compatibile with older cards, the software is free for download from creamware site (when it works...)
Planetz.com is probably biggest resource of creamware related stuff you'll find

that was the quickest reply ever, wasnt it?
and now for another question, what software should I d/l?
the new "SCOPE 4.0 Software", or the older version of "SCOPE Fusion Platform Software Version 3.1c" ?
sorry for the newB questions, but maybe they could help others too.

Make sure that you get he's account-info or the card want be of much use to you. With the account you can generate the codes needed to run SFP on the card.

Just what I did...picked up a Pulsar 1 nice and cheap (the guy didn't think there was any XP drivers)...to be sure, if you went to the Creamware site and tried to find 'drivers' for a Pulsar 1 you wound think that!
But YES! Download SFP 4.0 and you get so much for so little...
(I have since spend a lot more on new plug-ins spacef Echo, Mix 'n Master, all of which run great on the Pulsar 1)
