Bi-Directional MIDI translator Device. It can takes the MIDI-SysEx to MIDI-CC translation or other way around.
Here is an example screenshot program.

Purpose of this would be useful for various (Universal) External-surface-Controller or HUI. It can be used for Synths or Mixers at realtime for SPF and even passed through to or from the MIDI/Audio Sequencer as needed.

MIDI Translator Device (Ultility)
Dear LHong,
I've got an ancient, but very good Oberheim MC3000 Midi controller. It works perfect with GS3, but I'm interested in controller surface/keyboard combo. The M-Audio Keystation 88 looks like it could be incorporated in Scope with your MT very well. Could you maybe give me a couple examples of how I could use this live with GS3/Scope, and lighting automation.
Thank You for building unique stuff.

s4l: I think LHong is *asking* for someone to do this!
Have you guys checked out Wolf's MIDI Toolbox? It includes a translator that can map some things (notes, controllers, etc -- though not SysEx, as far as I understand it).
I'm saving up for it myself...

When I insert my foot, is usually goes all the way.
I used my old QX1 sequencer for automating vocal FX back in the 80's for a local group, but need to learn more about Dimmer's and such. Promise I will study more before I ask any more stupid questions. It's just that as soon as I get jammed up on a certain idea or topic, the first thing I do is run to Planetz for help. Hell, I did my very first email on this forum, you guys broke my cherry in the world of DAW. It's all your fault.
