Are there any patches for modular ready to create Whoosh! Zap effects?
Or are there any for Other synth plugins?

I had a patch that does laser type sfx that I used to make sounds for a freebie space game.. I can post it here if you want it. Doesn't have presets so it may easier to understand if you just made your own..
What style of sfx are you looking for? From my experience, it's hard to have a "synth" that does many kids of sfx because usually sfx calls for very specific modulation routing and values.. (like I had one that only did whip sounds)

my guess would be that for modular synth
in mod patches forum you can find ken's thunder patch, some nice fx stuff by alfonso and extremally inspiring forest patch by leper

ya, I rememebered the patch I had was for mod2 I think. But that was more for gunshot or impact type sounds.
You want whooshes in particular?
