I can't edit the first message, and for some reason, only the Pulsar Mixer is showing under "Uses." I also used (on Scope 3.1 and 4.0): Celmo X Machine, PsyQ, SPL Transient Designer, VDAT and Vinco. I also used analog gear, and tracked to an Alesis HD24 using a True Precision 8 pre-amp.

Hi!

Interesting and nice. As I understand You wanted what You get, I meen the bard song.

But I would mix the vocal track a little bit farther and would put a nice/warm reverb on it(not too much).

Thanks for the listen.

Legros: Ian McCarthy has come up with an organ part which may add some variation musically. I hope we'll have a remix fairly soon.

BraceletZ: Do you mean the vocals should be further back in the mix or that the vocals should stand out more? As for a 'verb, right now there isn't one, but if the addition of the organ part doesn't add too much 'verb then perhaps I will try a touch on the vocal.

The choices I have are pretty decent: the CreamWare 'verbs, a Lexicon PCM 90, and an Ensoniq DP Pro. If those don't work, then I sure would like to hear the Kurzweil stand-alone 'verbs. Although if I had room for one, there's a set of plans on the internet for a steel plate reverberator that I would really like to play with.

Very nice song indeed; I would suggest to separate much more the guitar from the voice. I would give the guitar some more bass and some more headroom, at the same time, would give the voice more presence and perhaps a little more reverb, it seems too dry

Thanks for the listen and the positive words about the song. And thanks for the suggestions.

In fact, there's no artificial reverberation on the vocal at all. We're deciding whether to re-mix "girlsong" now or re-track "girlsong" and mix it later. We may go on to a song for the Christmas season called "Star on the Floor." I'm not sure if there's time to try to pitch it for Christmas '05, but at least it should make things feel a little cooler
