i was told it is possible to gather more than 3 boards... of course it is needed to customize the stdm conector. Any experience of that?

It would make more sense to use 2 computers.

Contact Creamware regarding this - i remember reading that they built some of these machines for special customers, or something.

listed in the manual UP to 3 DSP cards can be in cascaded .
4th may bring trouble with the PCI band width
