we're proud to announce the birth of
CELMO TALK BOX
TalkBox, analog style, is an awesome new kind of device : we made it to be the easiest to use, and the most effective.
You only need to plug a microphone, and your guitar or your synth can speak.

You can simply play it on a MIDI keyboard, with the integrated pitch and noise generators.

And , thanks to the external instrument input, you can immediately have your guitar or your synth speak, with an incredible articulation

Demo available on

How exactly does this device differ from a vocoder?

Not as many spectral bands perhaps?

Here's some info on the analog style:

I think it is different because it is an imitaion of the tube/stompbox device. Seems more hygenic if you have a band mate who wants to try it.

Yeah!
I've ask for a device like that for years!!!
I have two real talkbox on my setup :
A Danelectro and a rocktron banshee and i like to produce sounds like the beloved Roger Troutman(R.I.P.) aka Zapp...the man behind (also)the 1995 smash hit california love by 2pac.
I'll give a try to the demo tomorrow...!

Trick... You should try it while you whisper, close to your mike, instead speaking. The results could be really more effective on some instruments.
