Hi,
Can I connect all the bits and pieces of an A16 Ultra to a Pulsar II? If so, what do I need to do?
Should I be considering any other similar products?
cheers,
Chris

ZLink looks something like this:

This is off a camera I believe, but the firewire/ZLink connector looks the same. I can't remember if early versions of the Pulsar2 have ZLink, the current Scope Project has a choice of different connectors available (classic, ADAT and ZLink.) You might be able to swap your current I/O module for a ZLink version if you contact Creamware, and/or buy one for a small fee (no idea what their current policy on the subject is.)
I'd suggest you go with ZLink also, as (from personal experience) it's more stable/reliable than ADAT (ADAT can be a bit annoying sync-wise if you don't also use wordclock, usually it'll work pretty well out of the box for most people tho) and supports 8 channels of 24/96 (versus 4 for ADAT in SMux mode.)
