new release made with pulsar
yes, nice presentation of the material
But I'm not so sure about the innovative character, as says the review on the site:
'Majestic Scene is characterized by an insatiable desire to learn, to grow, to change, to experiment, and to invent'.
From the (few) mp3 examples that are presented I get the impression of 'just' another progressive rock band, like we've seen since the last 25 years at least.
Normal rock instruments are used, and each of them represents the musical 'function' that is typical for that instrument.
No crossover with ethnic, electronic, dance, jazz or other approach, 'just' another todays rock band.
Not to blame MS, as it's hard to be innovative in rock land after all this rock history, but it are their own words
I guess the songs will do it
Congrats with the release, it's one of the most exiting rewards that can happen to a musicion
PS. wasn't the band Inquisit Corps settled in Tilburg also? you could call them innovative, 20 or 15 years ago already
anyway, good luck

Maybe you're right about that, but we didn't wrote that text, it's an opinion from someone else. In the past though, we did some laptop based soundscape stuff onstage an things with selfmade piezo instruments (steel plates with piezo mics glued to it). Also we play from time to time with two or tree jazz saxophonists. On de cd by the way are two soundscapes, more or less bassed on 'musique Concrête'. So, maybe we're a little bit innovativeOn 2004-12-19 08:56, hubird wrote:

A Dutch designer made it, the whole site is made in flash. (www.vanverbazing.nl). His own website isn't really up to date cause he's always extremely busy
He also made the webdesign and other artwork for several dance/theater groups where i write music for.
