How does the new feature of SX 3.0 called - External FX Plugins work?
If it's O.K., maybe we don't need XTC mode anymore?

I don't have SX3, but I think it'll do what you think it does. Logic has a similar thing, works great. The signal will go thru ASIO twice tho (once to get to SFP, once to get back to SX,) so you'll have a bit of latency incured.

Latency is automatically compensated for, I've heard. And delays can be manually accounted for.
But I don't know that it works properly.
