Does anyone know why in some instances it is very difficult to enter numerical values for some of the parameters in the 2448 mixer? Primarily in the channel eq. If you choose peak, for instance for one of the filters and you left click in the frequency window for example, the selected number does not become fully shaded so you can type in another value. Some parameters work fine, and some don't.

I too would appreciate a 'universal consistency' across the board for edit fields in SFP. The same problem happens in the stock compressor(s) IIRC; if you just click on the (ratio) field and start typing, you end up with a rather silly entry!
For these 'awkward' fields, I find that I have to click, CTRL-right-arrow to get the cursor over to the right-hand-side, hold the backspace key for a while to clear the entry and then type the value I want.
Rather long-winded (I still get caught out soemtimes as when you click, it looks as though the entry is 'selected' but it isn't).

very annoying indeed (but not a showstopper).
It has to do with crossplatform compatibility, if I'm right.
To have SFP function like a typical 'mac' program would be one of the extra points of futurist OS-X support

The thing is ,not all the edit feilds have that problem. For instance in the channel compressor, all the feilds work except the ratio. What's the point?

it's not the (or one) point, but 2 of them

the ':' in the ratio field breaks the string, otherwise the handling seems the same.
It IS the cross platform lib, as Hubird already mentioned - like it or leave it, one can't have all
cheers, Tom
