Every time I play my cw synths I constantly get stuck notes. Any ideas? Thanks. Also I am not sure I understand if the ulli settings refer to asio latency or midi latency to vst synths or both.

you could have a midi loop in your routing
does it occur with only a midi source directly connected to a synth ?

next thing could be (routing/processing) software that modifies velocity values in a sense that some offset is added (or subtracted) which prohibits velocity zero = note off.

then it's reported with certain ASUS deluxe motherboards, where it's suspected to a midi data overflow if the keyboard constantly sends 'active sensing' and/or timecode.
usually cured by applying a midi filter between the midi in and synth.

I'm also suspecting that it can be device specific. I have it with Profit 5 sometimes, but in a rather complicated context, so I cannot tell for shure yet.

cheers, Tom

Are you using a Roland A33 ? It sends clock info by default - you need to switch it off on the keyboard. You might also attach the monitor module to the incoming midi data to see what's happening.

I am using a motif-es. I think I found the problem. I switched the midi clock out to off. Thanks very much for your help. I also was curious about the ulli settings. Is it for asio only, or also for midi latency.
