Hi

I have recently bought a new PC P4 3.2Ghz, 80GB application drive, 250gb auido drive and 2Gb RAM. OS Windows XP Professional. SFP 4.0, cubase 5.1 r2

I am having the following problem and i wondered if anyone had any ideas?

Everything seems to work, Except running Creamware Plug-ins in XTC mode with my VST plug-ins. So i can Either launch Cubase in XTC mode and the Creamware plug-ins will work but the VST's won't or running Cubase normally your VST's will work but not your Creamware plug-ins. I have tried everything i can think of and even gets the same problem on the older software i have. i suspect it is a routing problem and should be able to be fixed but i haven't solved it yet.

can anyone help with this?

cheers K

I'm really not much of a XTC man, but it sounds to me a bit like Cubase is choosing either the VST folder which contains the "XTC VTSs" or the "Cubase VSTs" but not both (if I remember correctly, two VST folders are created - on inside the Cubase application folder, and one beside it).

Have you tried moving the contents of the XTC VSTs folder into the other one? (Or visa-versa...)
