Does the CPU process twice the amount of interrupts? Using the performance monitor, I can see that on my machine without HT the CPU handles ~ 1000 interrupts /second. With HT enabled, does it process 1000 interrupts/second per virtual CPU? I mean, that's what it is being displayed but it seems very high. With my dual Xeons, that would add up to 4000 interrupts /second total?

Temperature of the CPUs rise by ~ 3 degrees Fahrenheit with HT enabled.

I'll check tonight, not sure. What code should I look for? (with CPU-Z)
