hi fellows,

I want to upgrade to a new system, muy p3 500 mghz is getting old, so I figured that it's time for change, plus I want to take advantage of win xp as I'm still running under win 98 , so here's muy setup and tell what you think of it....

 ANTEC 480W ATX 12V TRUEBLUE480 as the atx case only, without the psu

 ZALMAN ATX ULTRA-QUIET PSU 400W ZM400B-APS

 P4C800
 CPU p4 3 GHZ 800
 2x 512 DDR 400 KINGSTON.

 SEAGATE Barracuda 7200.7 80G Serial ATA-150 8ms 8Mb buffer 7200 RPM
 MATROX P650 64MB.

Shoud be fine. Although personally I'd go an Intel 875 instead of the P4C800. That is unless you want to 'overclock' for games.

I've got those exact components (Mboard, CPU, PSU & RAM) working great with 2 Scope cards and WinXP.

You mean: P4C800-E right?

I mean, getting the ICH5R and the Intel Pro1000 on the CSA seems like the preferred option, so I would always look for that "-E" at the end...
