That's for who is developing new plugins for SFP...
Is it possible to have finally a decent spectrum analyzer?
I never find a good plugin (dx or something) which should be really useful and good.. But is not possible to develop something about it?

If you want to pay money for a good Analyzer then have a look at the PAZ Psychoacoustic Analyzer at
http://www.waves.com -> products -> plug ins -> penultimate row.
I like it very much.

I know and I have tried all the plugins you told me, but honestly I never find something I like really..
I used to work in a studio with an hardware analyzer, an Audioscope and I fall in love with it.. It's big, so easy to read and so precise..
I would really love to see something in plugin format, maybe bigger and fastest then Waves and Elemental Audio's one..
Penguin is not bad, but it's not a plugin if I am not wrong..
I saw also a rellay good one, SmaartLive from Siatech, but it works only from live input..

As you may have noticed, moving VU meters take quite some CPU. SFP isn't optimised to do fast graphic stuff like that I think. Also, it would only do streaming, not off-line work, like many native plugins and programs. I always connect a native program to a Wave Dest...

My RME also has digicheck 4.0x
I do believe there was a multiband RTA at some point on SFP, I recall using it 3-4 years ago and finding it very sluggish (as commented above).

taking the name of the track into account I would say 'yes'.
Take a B/W photo, horizontal axis is time, vertical frequency, the dots' intensity emphasize the respective frequencies and you'll end with something like that - a very nice example for convolution.
Afaik there's even software available for stuff like transferring images to sound.
Great idea to copyright your tracks
though I must admit the trick is fairly old, from around 1983...
When Apple released the first Macs they didn't document the ROMs of the machine, opposed to common practice those years.
This brought quite a few hackers up and they started to dissasemble the stuff, which basically went quite well - up to a piece of code which just seemed to end with a small data block in nowhere land and made no sense at all.

Theft of Rom code for cloning machines was a serious problem with the Mac's predecessors - hence the paranoia.
