Is it possible to have a device that processes the signal with creamware plugins to create a new file?
e.g.If I have compressed and added delay etc to my audio signal and am happy,I then want to make the new audio signal so I can free DSP,instaed of rerecording it.

That's how VDAT can be used...

For a smaller device, CW will have to do it since there is no such 'wav2disk' atom/module available for DP'ers right now.
