I have a Proph@t and really like it. I do wish, however, that someone would develop models of the Memorymoog & Polymoog. I have had the opportunity to play both of the originals for a while. They both have their own distinctive sounds that cannot be emulated with a Minimax with multiple voices. This is not a knock on the Minimax. I really like it. You simply can't assign a seperate waveform for each voice like you can on the Proph@t. What would be more similar to the sounds I'm talking about is if the Proph@t had three oscillators instead of only two. The third oscillator really gives a much fulller sound.

Well, not too sure what you're after, i would have thought that a polyphonic Minimax wasn't a million miles away from a Memorymoog - mind you it's been a while since i played one.

As to the Polymoog - heehee - well i do like it - it is distinctive but uses very weak divide down synthesis as i recall (love the ribbon controller). Also the Polymoog Synthesiser lacked the Gary Numan sound (you know the preset - Vox Humana) which was actually a whole separate synthesis board inside the Polymoog Keyboard version. i think there are a couple of what i called Vox Humanish presets for Minimax here that i made a while back, give 'em a whirl.
