I'm not sure if anything is shipping yet, but chipsets and motherboards have been announced with PCI Express support. Now here's the downside: these early boards are shipping with only two PCI-E x1 slots, and some of them only have two legacy PCI slots! That isn't going to work well with our CW setups. We'll have to wait and see what happens. I'm waiting for three slots of each type.

There doesnt seem to be much advantage in going 775 yet. [except maybe 4x sata raid on chip]
probably the advantages wont be seen till late this year.
current chipsets will still be suported thoughout this year...so it may be a long wait if you want to upgrade.
By then the prescotts will be a decent speed and hopefully cooler and mobos[chipset] will officially support higher speed ddr2

Just a note: afaik ASUS is the current manufacturer of Intel's mainstream/workstation boards.
