i am just about to assemble my Intel 875pbz and 3.2 chip + components. The question I have is this:
I have downloaded the latest flash Bios from Intel (this supports the 3.2 GHZ processor.

After everything is together and before I install XP should I flash the BIOS?(because it supports the processor) or should I do this after I put XP on?. Any tips?

Can I just say that I really really appreciate the help Planetz members have given me already.

It's best to do the flash before putting XP on it, that way XP will recognise the new bios with the appropriate settings (I must say I have never run into problems updating bios's after an xp install was made but just to make sure do it before).

You can get it as an exe file which will run from within windows. I think the main point is to do it before installing any hardware
