i installed i-music on to my pc and the sound was terrible(?!) so i uninstalled all the software and now i can't get any playback. Cubase is saying no ASIO device and anyother sound player like windows media player is saying "cannot play back the audio stream: no audio hardwrae is available; or the hardware is not responding"

I have checked on other websites and they are saying that i need to load the most uptodate drivers, but i have already done that (SFP 3.1c)?

can anyone help?

sorry i am becoming a complete pain!

itunes left some detritus behind.you may be able to run a good registry cleaner and things might work.next try reinstalling sfp(don't unistall, just go over the old install..),lastly,you may need to reinstall windows(after backing up all critical files and setttings...).

a program like norton ghost makes things easier, but only if you make an image before you have problems...

others may have better suggestions about setting things in order....
