I used to work with two systems, one with W'98 and one with a triple boot with windows 98 and 2000 i use partionmagic and bootmagic,

now i have a third new system with XPpro.

how does this work with the registration of XP, before I could put my windows 98 cd in every sytem and install it (even on my mother's pc)
but what I understand from this registration thing on XP I have to have a licence on each system.
and doesn't XP see a second partition(made not with XP) as an other system.

I hope you understand my poor english and can explain this to me becaus I want to install xp also on the other (old)system.

thanks

You don't need another license if you are doing dual boot as you are still effectively only running one copy at one time. You will require extra licenses if you intend to run more than one copy e.g. Desktop and laptop or 2 desktops etc.
