Ok, I have got a power pulsar, just got it, still in the box, and its gonna stay there for a few weeks untill I build its computer.
I intend to run it in XTC mode within cubase SX, on the back of the synth and sampler pack it says the STS 5000 wont work in XTC mode, but on the web site, with the list of what comes with what and such, its marked down as it will work with the optional daughter board fitted, http://www.creamware.de/en/Products/Sof ... efault.asp this is the same for a few other things in XTC mode too.
So what is the deal, what will actually run within SX, can I use the sampler, what about the modular v2 or modular III.
Oh and I'm also thinking about getting a UAD-1 any of you guys had any conflicts?
Cheers

No conflicts with UAD-1. No Probs here - works flawless!

xtc mode is best for mixing.sfp mode is way better for tracking.do as you like, though.

The STS & Modular synths won't run in XTC mode, AFAIK. However, I have found the trade-off to be worth it & absolutely adore working in XTC mode together with my UAD-1's.

I did have one time where I got some random hangs when my Pulsar II and UAD-1 were both sharing the same interrupt. So when you build your system I would advise you check the IRQs and keep the two cards separate.

Im not overly concerned by the STS, but does this mean theres no way to use the modular synth at all in XTC mode?
