Controlling Effect parameters via MIDI

Hi.

Let me explain myself with a simple example:

Can I control the filter cutoff of a PulsarII software filter-effect from a sequencer(Logic)?
the problem is that I cannot get an external MIDI output connected to any effect plugin. I only can route there Audio data.

Is this possible? any ideas?

Subject: effects rack

use the device called effects rack,its in with the insert effects i believe, but only in the more recent pulsar software versions. you can load effects into it and control them all with midi. have fun!!!
