Soon MS will no longer support Windows98. This means there will be no more updates, except for major security fixes. If you're still using Win98, I think this is a good time to burn the Windows98 updates and Service Packs to cd.

It will be a good OS for a few more years, for many people with small computers. XP is better, but a good installed 98SE, is a very workable option. I did work with this for almost 6 years, and had produced a lot out of it.
I know also that the latest upgrades, have fixed many important stability problems this OS used to have. So... if you were to be there for another two or three years time because you can't afford to buy XP, don't worry, you still will have a good option, not as powerful, not as stabley, but definitely, a good option.
This message is particularly for those in poor coutries that may belong to the Z comunity.

I would also have 98Lite if you can still get that.
