I'm not sure if it belongs here. The thing I want to know is how good or bad you can use a controller on the software. I use lots off equalizers, filters and so on. Is it possible to use a controller on those in the creamware environment?
I do read not that positive articles in magazines, but you out there are the real day to day users with more experience in this field. Serious controllers in my opinion are the mackie universal, sac 2.2k and the tascam fw-1884. But which one is the best for use with the creamware environment? Information to about what degree you can use such devices are not given on the creamware site. May be you can give me some advice so I can decide what to do.
Thanks!
how much control can you have on software?

I'd say fw-1884, cuz there is not a single button that you can't use for pulsar...
Mackie doesn't work at all with pulsar. It's sending midi note which is dynamically updated by the host (cubase for example.
SAC2.2 does 'a bit' of pulsar control thru his pulsar preset, but they only represent old pulsar2.04 synth... And you can't do your own template with it.
The fw-1884 add 4 midi i/o instead of using one, also add 8 respectable preamp, and decent mixing/monitoring capabilities. It can also play the ole of a real mackie or HUI controler. + support logic control if you're on mac. Connects to pulsat thru adat+spdif.
I own one, and wouldn't exchange it with any other one. Basicly about the same price as competition midi control but offer 18 audio ios/4 midi ios/control surface for a daw.
