Hi!
I just wanted to ask what PSU works fine with the Asus A7N8X (more than 400 W).
I ask because I had troubles with a recently bought PSU (with silent fans, ...):
there was no Audio Output with my Creamware Cards!!!
Did you had similar troubles with your PSU?
thanks

Antec Truepower 550W works well here. But so did my earlier Enermax 350W as well.

keep in mind some cheapo 500+ watt power supplies are really over reated. this time I picked up a zalman 400 watter and it is very quiet and has stable power.
you should not need more than 400 watts even with 2 scopeboards and 4 hard drives.
cpu 80w (p4 3ghz)
motherboard about 20w
hard drives 12 watts each x4
high end video card like radeon 9800 35w
(matrox g450 or something only use about 15)
creamware scope 15w x2
cdrw can use peak up to around 25
fans up to 10w usually much less.
so even with all that stuff running full out at the same time you would use 248 watts

It's important to notice what is the combined output power. That means how much PSU can give power thru +5v,+3.3v and +12v lines at the same time.
With 350W PSU's it's usually 185W if they are good/ok quality.
Addition: Some PSU's tell only +5v + 3.3v lines combined output. That might be the case with my 185W example.
